Haha!Chris Hewsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11566568274862884325noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4200832832545654418.post-54516590404298669952011-07-30T16:52:53.562-04:002011-07-30T16:52:53.562-04:00http://www.terrortrap.com/reviewsdatabase/g/grave_...http://www.terrortrap.com/reviewsdatabase/g/grave_of_the_vampire.php

Thanks for reading, Jenn!Jose Cruzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18152405075039057304noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4200832832545654418.post-68727434229119138712011-07-30T14:56:47.604-04:002011-07-30T14:56:47.604-04:00Chris, that sounds pretty good, if not very simila...Chris, that sounds pretty good, if not very similar. Don't think it's the same movie though. A singing narration sounds worse than the one here! If there is one thing I hate about the seventies pictures, is that hippie sing-song crap that populates so many of them. It was about an evangelist preacher Sister Sarah Jane who was a serial killer (although I don't remember it having a narration, it did have interludes where a guy would sing what had happened in the film so far). Whether or not the film was any good or not, I can't remember.Chris Hewsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11566568274862884325noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4200832832545654418.post-44772855152512890612011-07-30T11:20:20.121-04:002011-07-30T11:20:20.121-04:00If I remember correctly, the awesome MESSIAH OF EV...If I remember correctly, the awesome MESSIAH OF EVIL also has some dodgy narration that could be left out! It's becoming a new found trope that I find very annoying.

Looking forward to GRAVE. Too bad the overall effect had to be marred by that sledgehammer narration.

I actually just got done reviewing GRAVE OF THE VAMPIRE for another site. It's a fun little drive-in movie, very much in the spirit of COUNT YORGA which, despite having somewhat similar faults, I think I prefer over GRAVE. Funny enough, there's a small instance of redundant voice over work in that movie too! I guess Hayes just couldn't trust his audience, eh? I think you'll enjoy it though. Foggy backdrops and a snarling Michael Pataki. Can't wait to read your thoughts!Jose Cruzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18152405075039057304noreply@blogger.com
