Oh SyFy (as you are now called) Network, answer my prayers and make an animals invading the human sphere movie involving the afore-pictured beastie and I will love you forever. As if I didn't already.
Dude, this is the perfect premise for a movie! A bear shark hybrid runs amok in Loch Ness and Nessie shows up, as well as Bigfoot, and there's a huge CGI showdown. Throw in a genetically enhanced Sabre Tooth Tiger and maybe chupacabra, and we have ourselves a serious party! Yes!
I think I've seen a further-edited version of this picture, in which the Bearshark also has octopus tentacles.
And in response to your comment, yeah, taking a break from classics and talented actors. I think I'm going to spend a little time working with classic '50s schlock like The Killer Shrews, The Giant Gila Monster, Beast From Haunted Cave, etc. But who knows, that plan might get thrown out at a moment's notice.
Nope...they like to make Alice in Wonderland mini series instead..sigh.

ReplyDeleteAstro to Bear-Shark: "I love you, Bear-Shark."
ReplyDeleteBear-Shark replies "I love you too. *Chomp*"

@Astro. Ell oh Ell. If were a bear shark, I'd think twice about eating you after you said the 'L' word. :P
ReplyDelete@Bill. Ah, the Cthulu version. Niiiice. And might I advise, start with Eegah! It's quintessential 50's viewing.
What about "Mega Bear-Shark Vs. Giant Octopus-Lion"?
ReplyDeleteAh, nice, Aaron.
ReplyDeleteI caught one of those on my trip to Alaskanada
ReplyDeleteI don't know you, but here have this. It isn't quite the same, but it is close...not really.
