Nightmare Remake

I had a jumbo mango margarita and a huge Dos XX and was super tired after working six days in a row and then Sam and I went to see the Nightmare on Elm Street remake. And after twenty minutes of me bitching that the bath tub scene was too short and the girl they got to play Nancy wasn't as cute as Heather Lagenkamp, I fell asleep. Yep, we spent twenty bucks and I went to sleep. As the credits rolled, Sam shook me awake and I was pissed! Because that is money wasted. But then again, it couldn't have been that great, because it didn't hold my interest. But then again again, I kinda want my money back. Oh well. There's always Netflix. He said it got better after I passed out, but I don't believe him. Whaddayagonnado?

  1. Don't worry I think your reaction was the one the filmmakers must have intended. Seriously, it had to be intentional. It was like watching paint dry. The nap was more constructive. What a waste.

  2. Ouch, that's cash money you ain't getting back! I've fallen asleep plenty of times at the movies, usually I was bombed, though.

  5. Jenn, you fell asleep because you were tired not because the movie was bad, i suggest you go to see the film again but this time make sure you have a good 10 hour kip before you go. Take notice of what Sam said with regards to how the film got better after you passed out, this is one of the best remakes of all time so i think you should give it another go.

  6. @Adam. Seriously, I bitched about it until I passed out. I felt like if you hadn't ever seen one of these movies, you would have been lost. They didn't add anything, but then again, it felt like they were taking away.

@Dolewhite. I forgot about the 1.5 liter of wine we drank BEFORE the margaritas. No wonder I was so out of it! I do fall asleep to movies at home all the time. It's a wonder I get anything watched.

@Scary and Planet. Yeah, keep the expectations low. From what I say, pretty PG-13.

@Teddy. There's always Netflix, my friend.

  7. I heard mix things.... The new Freddy was in the old "Bad News Bears" movie. He killed it in "Watchmen" I will go see it at the Byrd.

  8. Trust me...it did NOT get better. Your nap was much more satisying than this movie. Unless you love complete stupidity, like we do. In that case, it was awesome.
