10 Things About Me You Might Not Already Know

My sweet, sweet Aaron at No Comment who I always disagree with (which I love because I love a good fight) listed me as one of the blogs that he loves and reads and covets and whatever, he also listed a bunch of inane facts about himself. Since this whole list things about yerself is goin' round, I'd thought I'd list ten things about me you may or may not already know. Every one already knows I'm a heavily tattooed crazy cat lady who loves the Misfits but did you know that:

1. I once studied to be a taxidermist.

2. My first tattoo was huge angel wings encompassing my entire back which still has not been finished and probably never will be. It's still there. Unfortunately.

3. I've been married - courthouse style, only to have it annulled later on.

4. I rarely eat meat but don't consider myself a vegetarian.

5. I once met Herve Villecheze in a mall in Beverly Hills.

6. I was born a week before Halloween, on my parents' second anniversary.

7. I have never been to Atlantic City, even though I live on the East Coast. I have been to Vegas, however. Don't even ask how that turned out.

8. I cannot stand Jack Black. He's just not funny.

9. I have a cat named Bela Lugosi - out of all my cats, he's the only one with a 'horror' name.

10. I cannot drink gin. I can drink any other spirit but no gin.

There ya go! Lots of stupid facts about Jenn! I've been drinking since 4:30 and it's well past midnight. Cheers!

  1. I now feel I know you that little bit better Jenn, even if I didn't know you were a Misfits fan so major Kudos on having such good taste.
Also congratulation that your blog got rated once more for being a great read!!

  2. Thanks Elwood, my dear, I'm glad, I feel that much closer to you too. I just heard the most amazing acoustic cover of I Turned into a Martian on the indie channel on satellite radio. It gave it almost a simple sweetness - totally weird.

Jenn, i agree with you about Jack Black, he really is a load of old rubbish, an appalling embarressment to himself and the rest of humanity.

  5. I'm so glad we are of the same opinion of Jack Black, JBH. He's always the same.

  6. Ah, Carl, we miss each other by a day - I'm the 23rd. I have three students in my class that have that same birthday and another one expecting a baby on that day too. It's a good month :) I'll be 29 again this year :P

  8. Jenn, have you heard the mariachi version of I Turned Into A Martian? It's really bizarre. And you can't tease us with your Vegas story like that. Give us details. And by "us" I mean me. It can't be worse than my Vegas story. I loved there for two years and it ended with me in JAIL for a couple of days. :)

  9. Oops I meant to write "lived" there. I loved there too but thats another story.

Jenn, i hope you dont mind me saying this but you are an incredibly gorgeous chick and the fact that you love horror movies makes you even more desirable. I was wondering if you could post a picture of yourself in a bikini, that would be fabulous.

  11. I don't mind a bit, my friend ;) I'll get right to those bikini pics, how about one of me in a tube top to tide ya over?

Jenn darlin` that would be marvellous, when might i expect to see these pictures on this site (just so i`ve got time to prepare myself for the thrill of a lifetime, as it were). You really are a stunningly beautiful babe.

  14. I love the fact that you've been drinking since 4.30 and have a cat called Bela Lugosi. Kindred spirit indeed. I had a cat called Edgar Allan Poe. He left and never called me back. How rude.

  15. A mariachi version of 'I turned into a martian'? That I've got to hear!

  16. Matthew, unfortunately I do not. I was young - maybe 10 or 11 and was on a family vacation. We're walking thru this mall and my mom spots Herve and starts freakin' out. He was really nice, if I can recall.

S(hp)S, thanks again, I'll try to work some sexy pics of me into my weekly reviews, just for you. Just try to picture me blogging while wearing something scandalous cause you know that's how I do.

James, when I finally get another cat, there's always room for one more, I'm going to name her Elsa, as in Lancaster. I have one named October, I guess that's sort of horror-ish.
