  2. The last ten books I read in 2011:

    10) Text Message by William Malmborg
    9) Anno Dracula by Kim Newman
    8) Jimmy by William Malmborg
    7) Halloween by Curtis Richards
    6) Frankenstein: Lost Souls by Dean Koontz
    5) The People of Paper by Salvador Pasencia
    4) Psycho House by Robert Bloch
    3) A Maze of Death by Philip K. Dick
    2) Gun With Occasional Music by Jonathan Lethem
    1) Sputnik Sweetheart by Haruki Murakami

I could go on. I've been keeping a list of the books I've read for ages, so I could probably track my "evolution" over the course of close to ten years.

  3. Off the top of my head-I read about three Agatha Christie books, the five book Skulduggery Pleasant series, Len Deighton's Billion Dollar Brain, and awesome mystery/adventure The Black Cross. Of course, that's not all I read, I read heaps more!

  4. Ok missy. Currently reading book two of The Hunger Games trilogy, but here is what I have on my nightstand currently in the que: Middlesex, World War Z, The Lost City of Z, The Wind and the Willows, The Gospel according to Coco Chanel, The Mirror Effect, and Champagne: how the worlds most glamorous wines triumphed over hardship and war. Good times.

  6. Just to be more specific, the Christie books were Why Didn't They Ask Evans, N or M? and Miss Marple's Final Cases. Also, The Black SUN, not Cross!

    1. Just a PS: Stand Down is a Mack Bolan/Excecutioner novel actually written by John Helfers (Don Pendleton was the creator of the Mack Bolan character and, for copyright reasons, is the listed "author." The Executioner books, featuring Mack Bolan, are written by a stable of writers). For pure military Hu-rah and bloody action, the Bolan novels are a very, very guilty pleasure.

  9. I read a book about three years ago and it took me over a year to finish it. I'm not too keen on books nowadays. I have, however, downloaded all the available James Herbert horrors just for the sake of nostalgia. I read them all when they came out.
